Inao is a traditional verse drama which was written by King Buddha Lerdlah Naphalai or King Rama II. The story is taken from Javanese chronicle tale. The drama is known for its beautiful poetry, idioms and expressions, sharp comparisons, the realistic creation of character and the beautiful setting, which have been greatly admired by readers.
This verse drama is one of the literary masterpieces of the Rattanakosin Period and it is treasured as the best of verse drama.   Many thanks to Arthit.
